Travis Scott is taking his fans on a wild ride with his new film, Aggro Dr1ft, which he co-produced and starred in.

he film, directed by Harmony Korine, the visionary behind Spring Breakers and Kids, is a gritty and surreal thriller that follows a ruthless assassin in Miami.

But instead of a conventional theatrical release, Scott and his team have decided to launch a unique and immersive movie tour that will take place in unconventional venues across the country, starting with a strip club in Los Angeles.

According to Variety, the Aggro Dr1ft movie tour will kick off on February 7, 2024, at Crazy Girls, a famous strip club in Hollywood.

The event, organized by EDGLRD, a multimedia group that specializes in creating immersive experiences, will feature a screening of the film, as well as live performances by Korine and Araabmuzik, the composer of the film’s soundtrack. More artists will be announced later, as the tour plans to visit more cities and venues in the coming weeks.

EDGLRD’s head of film strategy and development, Eric Kohn, said in a statement that the movie tour aims to challenge the traditional moviegoing experience and offer a more engaging and interactive way of watching Aggro Dr1ft.

“You don’t just watch Aggro Dr1ft – you step into a new world, and these events will allow audiences to immerse themselves in it,” he said.

Aggro Dr1ft, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival last fall, is a groundbreaking film that was shot entirely with an infrared camera, giving it a distinctive and eerie look.

The film follows Scott’s character, a cold-blooded hitman who is hired to kill a mysterious target in Miami Beach. Along the way, he encounters a series of bizarre and dangerous situations, as well as a mysterious woman who may be his salvation or his downfall.

It has received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Scott’s performance and Korine’s direction, but criticized the film’s lack of plot and coherence. The film currently holds a 38 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 42 reviews.

However, the film has also generated a lot of buzz and curiosity among Scott’s fans, who are eager to see his first major acting role and his collaboration with Korine, one of the most provocative and original filmmakers of his generation.

The Aggro Dr1ft movie tour is expected to be a sold-out event, as tickets are limited and available only through EDGLRD’s website. Fans who want to catch the film and the live performances are advised to act fast and secure their spots, as they may not get another chance to see Aggro Dr1ft in a conventional theater.
