MTV revealed the list of performers at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs). Rema was listed for th ceremony which will be held on November 5 at the Paris Nord Villepinte. He will be sharing the stage with Anne-Marie, Coi Leray, David Guetta, and Jung Kook, among others.

The nominees in the maiden edition of the category are French superstar, Aya Nakamura, and Nigerian singers, Asake, Arya Starr, Burna Boy, Davido and Rema.
