American rapper Nicki Minaj is on ‘beefing’ path with Megan Thee Stallion, but it is not everybody who likes what she is doing.

Her newly released diss track targeted at Thee Stallion has not particularly impressed people like Charlamagne The God.

The outspoken host of The Breakfast Club has criticized Minaj’s Big Foot, describing it as a weak and unnecessary response to Thee Stallion’s Hiss.

In a video uploaded by The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne shared his thoughts on the ongoing beef between the two female rappers, which escalated after Megan dropped Hiss on Friday at midnight.

The song, which features Cardi B and Doja Cat, takes shots at Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, who is a convicted sex offender and facing charges for failing to register in California.

Charlamagne said that he was glad that Nicki decided to rap instead of just tweeting, but he was not impressed by her bars or her delivery. He said that “Big Foot”, which was released on Sunday, sounded like it was recorded in a hurry and that some of the lines were recycled from her previous tweets.

“That ain’t it, Nicki,” he said. “I don’t know who Nicki got around her, but there’s absolutely no reason that should’ve left the studio. I’m glad Nicki finally decided to rap and not just tweet, but no, that ain’t it.”

He also said that he felt that Nicki went too far by bringing up Megan’s deceased mother, who passed away in 2019, in one of the verses.

Charlamagne added that he understood that rap beefs can get personal, but he did not agree with that move from a human perspective.

“We’re approaching this from a grown level. I don’t see the need to bring in somebody’s deceased mother, but like I said, I can’t say it’s not fair; I’m just speaking from a human perspective. From a human level, I don’t agree with that,” he said.

Nicki and Megan used to be on good terms, collaborating on the hit song Hot Girl Summer in 2019.

However, their relationship soured after Megan teamed up with Cardi B, who has a long-standing feud with Nicki, on the chart-topping song WAP in 2020.

Since then, the two have been throwing subtle and not-so-subtle jabs at each other on social media and in their music.
