Reports reaching Afrobeats+ have it that Beyonce’s childhood home caught fire early on Christmas morning.

According to information available, just after 2 a.m, Houston firefighters responded to a call reporting a fire at the star’s former residence on Rosedale Street in the city’s Third Ward.

However, according to reports available online, the second story was already engulfed in flames when the fire crew arrived.

The current residents—a couple and their two small children—managed to safely evacuate without assistance before the fire department showed up, and no injuries were reported.

An investigation is underway to find the fire’s cause.

Beyoncé’s parents moved out of Beyonce’s childhood home before Solange Knowles was born in 1986, despite having paid $64,000 for it the year the famous singer was born.

The home was listed for sale in 2019, but fans of the Break My Soul singer still consider the three-bedroom house, which features a spiral staircase leading to a third-floor office, to be a famous landmark in Houston, although it has had multiple owners since the Knowles owned it.

Recently, the Brown Skin Girl hitmaker was seen taking photos of the property when she was in her hometown for the Renaissance World Tour in September this year.

Houston Fire Department‘s Chief Justin Barnes told Houston’s local TV station KTRK that “they (the firefighters) did a great job.” I’m going to say that in less than 10 minutes, we had a really good grip on this fire.”

Meanwhile, Beyoncé is reportedly posting from her private jet over Brazil. The award-winning actress, with her long blonde hair, wore a bikini top and jeans set as she posed throughout the luxurious interior of the jet.
