Music enthusiasts are on the lookout for fresh and buzzing tunes every day and Afrobeats is one of the genres that meets those needs.

The spotlight today is on two brand new soul-inspiring rhythms, released in the first week of November, which listeners can add to their playlist.

First is a new single by Nigerian singer Fireboy DML, which he calls Oh My. The other is Feeling Good by Guchi.

Oh My is a melodic, low-tempo Afrobeat rhythm.  A good party starter, as the Vibration hitmaker, Fireboy DML, eulogizes all the fine qualities of a supposed partner in this song.

It has soft beats, emotive harmonies, and a simple chorus that the listener can easily remember.

Love-themed Oh My has a touch of R&B and showcases Fireboy’s remarkable artistry.

“You are my body, you are my soul, you are my better half, you are my whole,” Fireboy sings in a part of the chorus.

The sound comes with a carefully created video, which is available on YouTube. It follows the success of Fireboy DML’s other singles released this year, which include Yawa and Someone.

Having shown his musical prowess in many regards throughout the year, the Peru hitmaker could earn some accolades with his new release as the year comes to an end.

Next on the list is the tune from Nigerian female singer-songwriter, Guchi. She has also served her fans an electrifying tune labeled, Feeling Good.

The singer delivers the beautiful record together with her Mavin Records counterpart, Bayanni.

It serves as a follow-up to the single Notice Me, released early in August in collaboration with artiste, Loud Behaviour.

Guchi does mixed genres, mainly Afropop, dancehall, and high-life. She started her professional career in 2012.

Her debut single, No Be Jazzy, was released in April 2019. After signing with PG Records Entertainment, she released Addicted later that year, followed by Closer in October 2020.

Other songs, such as Jennifer, I swear, Benzema, and Scatter My Head, have all attracted attention in the past.

As the weekend draws nearer, the above-mentioned compositions could be good recommendations to add to your playlist if you enjoy unstoppable Afrobeats music.
