Legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali, is likely to storm the ring in the upcoming WWE 2K24 game as a special guest character.
2K Games, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, released the trailer on social media, and it showed a significant portion of the wrestling game, as well as emphasizing the 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania.
In the latter part of the video, Ali hit his signature “Ali Shuffle” in the center of the ring. He could be seen rocking his all-white trunks, Everlast boxing shoes, tape wrapped around his fists, and an iconic robe.
On Instagram, the game’s official account posted that “The Greatest is about to enter the ring.”
While Ali appears to be out of place for a roster slot in the upcoming game, it’s not random. He served as a special “outside” guest referee during Wrestlemania I and appeared during the tag team match between Hulk Hogan and Mr. T against Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper.

Also in the teaser trailer is a plethora of wrestlers such as Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, Bret Hart, Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Kevin Owens and Solo Sikoa.
Again, fans were treated to exciting game modes, including the ambulance match, backstage brawls, casket matches, the ability to control a special guest referee, and a showcase mode celebrating Wrestlemania’s rich history.
In other news, Q-Tip has joined ALI Musical as a producer and a co-lyricist. He explained that he intended to use his talents to bring the story of Muhammad Ali to the theatre.
Additionally, Grammy award-winning saxophonist and vocalist, Casey Benjamin, has joined the production as an associate music producer, and Sean Mayes is also on board as a music supervisor.
The trio is led by composer, Teddy Abrams, who stated that they are ready to have seasoned professionals on the team.
He added that they are world-class talents with immense musical vision and knowledge, and are ready to bring exceptional energy and inspiration to the musical.
