After serving his followers with back-to-back hits, Afrobeats Superstar Kizz Daniel is celebrating a decade in the industry with a new single that will be released sometime this week.

Titled Too Busy to Be Bae, the record, he said, will drop on December 5, 2023, or whenever the “spirit leads.” The project and the 10th anniversary celebration follow his latest album Maverick and a recent Maverick Tour, which saw him perform at the Wembley Arena, London.

As part of the decade-long musical journey, Kizz Daniel born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, is rumoured to have acquired a new Rolls Royce to celebrate the anniversary.

Pictures juxtaposed with him and the Roll Royce has emerged online, but the artiste himself has not made a public statement about the acquisition.

That notwithstanding, the Cough (Buga) crooner has made a significant contribution to the global dominance of Afrobeats. Starting off in 2013, the showstopper, with lots of compositions under his belt, has been on an impressive run as the single Buga got fans dancing on and off social media.

His latest album, Maverick, has well-recommended songs like Show You Off, My G, Blood is Thicker, Anchovy, Side Chick. Fans have put out congratulatory messages to the singer who does not record “bad music.”

Kizz Daniel, in 2013, signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment but has since left the company to establish his Fly Boy Inc record label. He rose to fame in 2014 with his debut single, Woju.

The refined singer decided to pursue a music career alongside his studies at the university, and in 2013, he attained a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering).

He has collaborated with several artistes including Wizkid on the song For You and Davido on another hit record One Ticket, which came with an exciting video production.

On December 30, 2018, Kizz Daniel released his second studio album and his first under FlyBoy Inc titled No Bad Songz. Other guests on the Album included Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo and Sarkodie.

In 2022, Kizz Daniel performed his single Buga at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The well-established singer has many awards to his credit, including the City People Music Award for Male Music Artist of the Year. Best Album of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Song of the Year at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards. He is blessed with triplets but reportedly lost one of them.
